How can you look stylish without giving up comfort?

The comfort we love so much
After several messages from you, I realised that the NUMBER ONE question is...
"How can I look stylish and still feel truly COMFORTABLE?"
I completely understand. We all have days when we want to sink into something soft and comfortable but still make a confident impression.
That's why I've gathered 5 practical ways to do it:
1. Start with a quality base
- Look for soft knits that still hold their shape (ribbed knits, wool, cashmere knits).
- Choose quality T-shirts - in a slightly thicker fabric with a clean neckline.
- Choose jeans with straight or relaxed legs (not too tight, but not baggy either).
Stylist's tip: If the fabric quickly stretches or pills, the look immediately loses its "polished" appearance.
2. Add one considered layer
An everyday look becomes a polished one when a "third element" appears. Think about:
- a classic, comfortable blazer,
- a cardigan in a firmer knit,
- a wool or leather coat,
- a structured quilted jacket.
Note: The third element can also be a layer underneath. Put a collared shirt under your jumper and "voila"... the look is instantly "pulled together".
3. Play with textures
Cooler weather is a gift, because textures add depth to your look with no extra effort.
Combine:
- knits + denim;
- leather (or eco leather) + wool;
- suede + cotton.
Stylist's trick: Stick to a simple or monochrome colour palette and let the different materials do the main work.
4. Shoes set the tone
Even on your most relaxed day, your shoes shouldn't be an accident.
Choose:
- close-fitting ankle boots,
- loafers (with or without socks)
- or neutral leather/suede trainers.
Tip: If you'd wear the same shoes to the gym, swap them for a more stylish alternative.
5. Finish with one "polished" detail
The difference between "clothes I just put on" and "I look great" lies in the last 5%. Tuck the front of your shirt slightly into your trousers, roll up your sleeves, add a belt or jewellery (and yes, you can mix gold with silver!).
Note: If an outfit is "polished", it doesn't mean you're dressed up, it means your look is finished.
