What did our client Agate actually keep from her Style Box?

Take a look inside one real Style Box and find out why we chose these particular pieces.

7 pieces selected. Agate kept 6.

Today I want to show you not theory, but one real Style Box.

Agate is 31, works in an office at a state institution and is a mum. Her everyday life calls for clothes that look right for work but are also comfortable and easy to adapt to life outside the office.

So when I built Agate's Style Box, my aim wasn't to find seven individually beautiful pieces but to create a small capsule where everything combines.

In the box I chose:

A white T-shirt on a white background

A white Lotte T-shirt - a simple base to combine with trousers and a blazer for work, or with jeans in her free time.

A sky blue shirt on a white background

A sky blue Gemma shirt - classic, but not too formal thanks to its soft colour. It can be worn at the office or in a more relaxed combination.

A butter yellow cropped denim jacket on a white background

A cropped Lilly denim jacket in butter yellow - the capsule's most special accent, which adds colour to the neutral basics and lets her wear them in her free time too.

Straight, relaxed sand-coloured trousers with an elasticated waist on a white background

Straight, relaxed Lynn trousers with an elasticated waist - so her work clothes are not just neat but truly comfortable all day long.

Part of a white and light blue striped blazer on a white background

A striped Daria blazer that rounded out her work wardrobe outfits.

A gathered black midi dress with long sleeves on a white background

A gathered black Dorothy Perkins midi dress - one ready-made outfit for days when you don't want to think about what goes with what.

A beige knitted V-neck jumper on a white background

A beige knitted Ella V-neck jumper - a calm basic for cooler days that's easy to combine with the rest of the box.

The result?

Of the seven pieces selected, Agate kept six.

The only one she chose not to keep was the blazer - that size was slightly too loose on her. And that's completely normal too. The idea of a Style Box isn't that absolutely everything has to suit you and fit.

You try everything on calmly at home and keep only what really fits and what you'll want to wear.

I think the Style Box is a really brilliant invention in today's busy world. Opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised - I liked everything and, more importantly, everything fitted too! There were also things I definitely wouldn't have picked in a shop myself, but when I put them on it turned out they suit me and I like them. I think that's what I like most - sometimes someone else spots what I'd never have thought of choosing myself.

But the biggest plus for me is time. Ordering the box took just a few minutes, whereas finding 7 things in the shops myself that I like, that fit and that go well together would probably take me a whole day.

Agate's box is a good example of what I aim for with every Style Box - new pieces that don't become another random pile of clothes in the wardrobe but help create a wardrobe where things work together.

Your Style Box will also be built around your profile, sizes, style, lifestyle and needs.
